About the Role

Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials (MCAM) is a global leader in advanced materials and precision manufacturing solutions. We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead and develop a team of Quality Analysts supporting both manufacturing and customer requirements at our Mesa, Arizona site.

This role is critical to ensuring products meet customer specifications, MCAM quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Supervisor serves as a technical expert in inspection, metrology, and quality systems while partnering closely with production, engineering, and leadership to drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

Quality Leadership & Team Supervision
Supervise, train, and develop a team of Quality Analysts to ensure consistent execution of inspection, testing, and documentation activities. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and goal setting to strengthen team capability and effectiveness.

Inspection & Metrology Expertise
Perform and oversee inspections using precision measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, optical comparators, gauge pins, gauge blocks, and CMMs. Interpret results and determine product conformity.

Technical & Process Support
Interpret engineering drawings, solid models, and GD&T requirements. Leverage a strong understanding of machining processes to communicate findings and support corrective actions on the production floor.

Nonconformance & Corrective Action
Document nonconforming product in accordance with company directives. Analyze issues, identify root causes, and support cross-functional problem-solving efforts.

Quality Systems & Compliance
Support ISO quality system documentation and participate in internal and external audits. Perform AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAIs) and maintain calibration records in coordination with external service providers.

Customer & Cross-Functional Engagement
Serve as a point of contact for customer quality matters, including participation in customer meetings and use of customer portals for document submission. Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns.

Data Analysis & Reporting
Summarize quality control data, apply basic statistical techniques for trending and analysis, and report results to site leadership.

What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of metrology, inspection methods, and GD&T

The salary range for this position is $75,000-94,450. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
