Eaton's Electrical Sector - PDCA division is currently seeking a Quality Manager based onsite at our Avery Creek, NC manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance is available to candidates who currently reside in the US. The Quality Manager is a key member of the Avery Creek Plant Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. This leader is responsible for driving plant-wide quality performance, achieving quality objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The role will lead the deployment of Eaton Business System (EBS) quality tools and initiatives, including EQMS, to support and achieve plant goals.
This position is accountable for ensuring customer satisfaction through the effective execution of the Quality Management System and overall quality strategy. Responsibilities include monitoring and improving quality performance metrics, conducting quality assessments, and leading Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts to drive sustainable improvements and operational excellence. The Quality Manager will provide leadership and direction for the Quality organization, overseeing Operations Quality, Inspection, Testing, Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, and the Quality Management System (QMS) team to ensure consistent performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across the facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:- Direct quality personnel and prioritize quality functions of the plant.
- Manage the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of a quality management system to comply with the published plant QA manual.
- Develop and implement strategic projects to continually improve the overall quality of product, information and service.
- Interface with customers both in the plant and external to enhance their perception and understanding of the plant quality systems.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement training programs relative to the Quality Management System.
- Develop quality control documentation for production, (Quality Control Plan, Inspection Records, etc.), and ensure the implementation of the quality documents.
- Manage all ISO 9001 program activities including being the primary plant representative and authority on ISO9001 requirements and the primary contact to external ISO auditors.
- Analyze and report all quality performance indicators: CONC, Warranty charges/PPM, DPU, final audits, etc.
- For Customer Complaints, is responsible for all containment actions and leading the problem solving CAPA teams for root cause analysis evaluation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions at the manufacturing processes.
- Accountable to performance of QA duties and has the authority to take the necessary actions to resolve any quality issue.

Qualifications:Basic (required) Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Three (3) years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- One (1) year of leadership experience, such as project management or process improvement/implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- Five (5) years of progressive quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Three (3) years of leadership experience, managing a team of quality professionals.
- Certified internal ISO and CCTI auditor.
