Full Job Description
Shift: 2 positions - 1 day shift, 1 swing shift

Your Charter

As a Quality Engineering Technician, you will own incoming inspection activities and support the identification, containment, and resolution of quality issues across our manufacturing operations. Your work will ensure that only qualified materials enter production while providing the data and technical insight needed to continuously improve product quality and manufacturing processes.

Key Outcomes
  • Maintain timely incoming inspection and material disposition activities to prevent production disruptions.
  • Drive containment and escalation of nonconforming materials, ensuring issues are clearly documented and resolved.
  • Deliver accurate inspection data and technical findings that enable engineering and supplier quality improvements.
  • Support rapid root cause investigations by providing clear problem statements, inspection results, and failure analysis data.
  • Maintain inspection equipment, tooling, and calibration records to ensure reliable and repeatable quality assessments.


Key Competencies
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, electrical schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a high standard for documentation accuracy and quality execution.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly across engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on quality, manufacturing, or engineering technician experience.
  • Experience performing inspections and investigating quality issues in a production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Experience using inspection and test equipment such as calipers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, or similar tools.


Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting robotics, automation, consumer electronics, automotive, or other electromechanical products.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical or electromechanical assemblies.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, MRB processes, and nonconformance tracking.

Compensation Range

$35.00 - $50.00/hr
