Fincantieri Marine Group is hiring for a Quality Assurance/ISO Manager at our Sturgeon Bay WI location.

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance/ISO Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the company Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and industry standards. This position leads quality assurance activities, manages audit and inspection programs, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates with internal teams, customers, and regulatory agencies to maintain quality and safety standards, with direct management/supervision of up to 3 employees.

Domestic and international travel may be required.

Essential Functions
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies, procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements, including coordination with regulatory bodies and customer representatives.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute internal audits, inspections, and quality reviews; monitor quality metrics and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide leadership, training, and technical guidance to quality personnel and cross-functional teams to support production quality and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, ISO standards, auditing practices, and regulatory compliance requirements, including the ability to meet regulatory requirements for radiographic device licensing under applicable state and federal regulations, as required
  • Ability to analyze quality data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve processes and product quality; working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and regulatory agencies while managing multiple priorities.
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
  • Must have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
  • Must adhere to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and have high values for safety awareness
  • Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; employee recognition and discipline; resolving employee concerns; and developing employees with the skills, competencies, and values needed to achieve Company goals.


Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 8 Years of related experience required, experience with ISO Quality Systems, NAVSEA, ABS, USCG, and commercial marine construction standards; major defense industry experience preferred.
  • American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification and ASNT Level II or Level III certification in nondestructive testing methods preferred.
