Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to support a complex enterprise implementation. This role requires the ability to work independently, coordinate across multiple teams, and establish sustainable testing practices that support release readiness and post-go-live operations. The QA Lead will focus on system integration testing, defect governance, and developing a comprehensive regression testing layer integrated into the deployment process.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) across multiple workstreams.
• Manage the defect lifecycle from identification through resolution and closure.
• Facilitate defect triage sessions and drive prioritization decisions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Maintain Azure DevOps artifacts, including test plans, test cases, defects, dashboards, and traceability records.
• Coordinate daily testing activities with external vendor teams and internal delivery teams.
• Validate test coverage across functional, integration, and downstream systems.
• Ensure testing activities align with release milestones and readiness criteria.
• Design and develop a comprehensive regression testing suite covering core functionality and critical integrations.
• Identify regression scenarios based on risk, historical defects, and business-critical workflows.
• Implement automated regression testing using tools aligned with the broader Microsoft technology stack.
• Integrate automated regression test execution into deployment and release pipelines.
• Establish governance for maintaining and evolving regression testing assets as the platform changes.
• Provide clear test status reports and risk assessments to program leadership.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) readiness and handoff, where applicable.
• Identify quality gaps early and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Promote quality across the program while maintaining delivery efficiency.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience leading quality assurance for implementations.
• Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
• Proven experience coordinating testing activities across vendors, system integrators, and internal teams.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience integrating testing activities into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-release environment.
• Self-driven and curious approach, with the ability to work independently and research new tools, platforms, and domains without requiring formal training.
Preferred Qualifications
• Background in large-scale enterprise or healthcare-related implementations.
• Experience working in consulting or advisory roles.
