You will be part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team with other Developers, Analyst-testers, Business Analysts and Architects, in an environment where the team works with Kanban methodology. As a Programmer Analyst of the squad you will be involved in the design, implementation and support of Python business tools used by the Operation and Risk teams. - Job Location: This role is hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office) - based in Montreal, QC
Key Accountabilities- Participate in the architecture, the design, the development and the maintenance of business automation tools used by operation teams.
- Elaborate and execute tests prior to delivery.
- Collaborate with the team members to understand and to challenge the requirements, design, and the testing cycle.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews by following the enterprise code standards.
Must Have(s)- University degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Analyst Programmer, including at least 3 years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Strong experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and software design practices.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise-level applications.
- Excellent software/system troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Python unit testing frameworks and best practices, including the design and maintenance of automated tests.
- Language Skills: Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is essential for this position, as it involves producing documentation for internal stakeholders who communicate in both languages.
