Responsibilities
Support strategic threat assessment programs for executive protection and enterprise physical security planning operations through research, advanced intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination. Monitor, assess and synthesize intelligence from public, proprietary and clandestine sources (e.g. social media, forums, and the deep/dark web) to identify emerging risks to our people, assets, operations, and reputation, and escalate credible threats. Perform threat modeling for high-risk travel, locations, and events, to produce threat assessments, risk profiles, and actionable risk mitigation recommendations. Deliver briefings to technical and non-technical audiences regarding emerging risks, threat actor tactics, escalation indicators, and security trends to aid senior stakeholders with decision-making and risk response. Train junior personnel on security protocols and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), analytical standards, and security product quality controls. Evaluate new intelligence tools, products, technologies, and vendor capabilities.
Qualifications
Qualifications Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Analytics, Cybersecurity, Applied Intelligence, Security Management, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) or Social Media Intelligence (SOCMINT) platforms, including Brandwatch, Liferaft, Skopenow, Flashpoint, or Echosec; Performing risk assessments to assure protection of organization assets; analyzing criticality based on impact-likelihood metrics; and proposing remediation plans for identified risks; Providing security advice and risk-oriented insights during project initiatives and identifying areas of risk; Monitoring and reporting on risks and controls and developing metrics and graphical representations for risks to inform risk owners and stakeholders; and Maintaining security rules and configuration per user feedback. The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ 113152 - $ 115200 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
