Who will you be working with?
The Project Quality Leader is a key member of the Quality organization and works closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Supply Chain, and Customer teams. This role partners directly with customers and internal project teams to ensure quality requirements are achieved throughout the product lifecycle while providing leadership to a team of Project Quality Engineers.

You will lead project quality activities across multiple programs to ensure customer requirements, business objectives, and regulatory standards are achieved. You will drive APQP methodologies, lead quality strategy, resolve complex quality issues, and build a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What do we want to know about you?
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of Quality experience
• Experience in project management environments
• Strong knowledge of APQP, QRQC, 8D, PDCA, FTA, FMEA and auditing
• Blueprint reading and measurement techniques
• Strong leadership and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
What will your typical day look like?
• Lead project quality engineers and quality planning activities
• Drive APQP implementation and launch readiness
• Serve as primary customer quality contact
• Lead quality audits, FAIs, production transfers, and customer reviews
• Manage COPQ reduction initiatives and quality metrics
• Champion root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D
• Ensure compliance with QMS and customer requirements
• Recruit, coach, and develop employees
What about the physical demands of the job?
Work is performed in both office and manufacturing environments. Frequent walking through production areas, use of PPE as required, observation of equipment and documentation, and regular communication with stakeholders.
Travel Requirements
This position is based in Duncan, SC and requires flexibility to support the Charlotte, NC facility as business needs dictate. Travel requirement: approximately 20% travel, including customer visits, inter-site support, audits, project reviews, launches, and other business needs.
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
