Full Job Description
ASRC Federal System Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Project Manager to support our Prime program supporting the Naval Research Lab Blossom Point Tracking Facility in Welcome, MD. The Project Manager (PM) will plan, oversee, and document all aspects of the project(s) assigned. They will be expected to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal team members and proactively work with a variety of customers to gather and analyze technical requirements and develop technical solutions. The PM will create and develop presentations and reports for senior management and will develop and/or assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Process Flows, and other documents relating to their program. The PM is expected to utilize best practices and techniques for addressing customer concerns and actively respond to requests, questions, or comments concerning the team and assigned responsibilities. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree, and 5 years of experience - or equivalent • Previous experience as a technical PM or Systems Engineer desired • Strong communications and customer facing skills especially with senior leadership • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management • Ability to proactively communicate with customers and team members to anticipate and solve problems • Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, Project and Visio • Department of Defense (DoD), and preferably Navy work experience • Knowledge of satellite ground systems to include RF, crypto equipment and networks desired • Comfortable in briefing and communicating with senior government managers and with consultant SMEs. • PMP Certification desired • Ability to develop plans in Microsoft Project and track key schedule and performance parameters • Individuals must have an interim Secret Clearance to start and be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance We invest in the lives of our employees, both in and out of the workplace, by providing competitive pay and benefits packages.
