Position Summary:
We're looking for a Project Manager who wants to make an impact.

In this role, you'll work closely with customers, engineers, designers, and machine builders to lead custom automation projects from kickoff through completion. You'll coordinate people, schedules, budgets, and project requirements while keeping teams aligned and customers informed throughout the process.

Location: Full-time salary position onsite in Holland, MI. Standard shop hours are 7am-3:30pm

Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: $80,000-120,000 annually, based on experience.

What You'll Do:
As a Project Manager at Mission Design & Automation, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead project teams through kickoffs, scope and engineering changes, scheduling, budget management, open issues, and risk analysis
• Provide clear direction and facilitate collaboration between engineering, design, controls, fabrication, assembly, and other internal teams
• Identify and anticipate project needs, resolve issues, and take action to keep projects on track
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects meet customer and company expectations
• Prepare and communicate project status updates, proactively addressing and escalating critical concerns when needed
• Support Business Development by providing project expertise related to timelines, costs, resources, and execution requirements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and project stakeholders through clear and consistent communication
• Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities
• Take ownership of assigned projects, work independently, and drive projects through successful completion

What You Bring:
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in technical field and/or experience managing projects in the automation industry
• 5+ years of experience in the automation industry
• 3+ years of experience in project management
• History of successfully managing multiple customer contacts and projects at various stages of completion

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in machine design, build, or programming
• PMP certification
