Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of capital improvement and construction projects from start to finish. This is a critical role that requires expertise in managing project milestones, maintaining client relationships, and delivering exceptional service. The successful candidate will thrive in a team environment, possess strong administrative skills, and demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of projects including quoting, planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, risk management, safety, and quality control.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously throughout their entire life cycle.
  • Estimate, propose, and manage project scope and budgets accurately.
  • Engage and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and understanding of their requirements and expectations.
  • Coordinate resource assignments to ensure schedules remain on track.
  • Visit client sites to determine project needs and specifications.
  • Manage key milestones and deliverables on small and large-scale projects.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations for design improvements, as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, ensuring all phases of projects are completed on time.
  • Attend meetings and maintain efficient communication with all stakeholders.
  • Uphold and promote safe work practices, contributing to a strong safety culture.


Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in the food, beverage, and/or pharmaceutical industries is an asset.
  • Functional expertise in architectural and/or mechanical disciplines or knowledge of process engineering.
  • Familiarity with NBC, OBC, and ABC building codes.
  • PMP certification holder (or in progress) or Gold Seal certified preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).


Education and Experience

  • Degree, diploma, or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience in the construction, consulting, or design-build environment.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel as required.

Compensation range: $100,000 - $125,000 per year

The salary range for this position is based on market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure fairness and consistency.
