Project Manager - Geospatial with a min. of 5+ years of professional experience to be part of our
GeospatialDivision to work out of our
Huntsville, AL office.
The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment where projects are derived from both public and private clientele. Responsibilities- Manages remote sensing project life-cycle, from proposal development and scoping to final delivery and closeout
- LiDAR and photogrammetry background in both office and manned flight operations
- Perform quality control of remote sensing activities and project deliverables
- Work with WGI Market & Operational Leaders with a primary focus on business development and sales in remote sensing, and to help grow geospatial services for the firm
- Responsible for the growth and profitability of the company
- Assist in the development and execution of strategic operational goals and KPI's
- Plan, implement, and manage the overall long-term business success strategy
- Work with the other senior leaders to identify capital investments, strategic alliances, key hires, acquisitions, and growth opportunities
- Mentor, manage, and train field and office associates
- Perform work safely and effectively
Qualifications- 5+ years of experience with remote sensing projects preferred
- Excels at networking, negotiating, and strategic and critical thinking
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field highly preferred
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
