Location: Hybrid in Toronto

Job Description:

We are seeking a client-focused Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility capital programs while supporting business growth and client relationship development. The role combines project/program management, stakeholder engagement, and business development to support distribution utility initiatives including grid modernization, asset renewal, reliability improvement, customer growth, and infrastructure expansion programs.

Your Role:

Program & Project Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of utility capital projects and programs.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and quality.
  • Coordinate across engineering, operations, construction teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Establish project governance, reporting structures, and performance tracking mechanisms.
  • Support capital planning, forecasting, Construction Work in Progress (CWIP), and project prioritization activities.

PMO, Reporting & Governance
  • Implement PMO best practices, project controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Develop executive dashboards, status reports, KPI scorecards, and presentations.
  • Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs, change requests, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
  • Support portfolio management, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Client Engagement & Account Growth
  • Build trusted relationships with utility executives, engineering leaders, and operational stakeholders.
  • Facilitate executive reviews, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder workshops.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing client accounts and support account growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), client presentations, and RFP responses.


Your Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of project and program management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering capital projects within the electric utility, energy, infrastructure, or engineering services sectors.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and client-facing relationship skills.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, reporting dashboards, and Microsoft Office applications.


The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $75,000 - $165,000 CAD/year.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
