Job Details

As a Project Manager – Building Automation Systems, you will help ensure building automation projects are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with established standards. You will partner closely with the EBAS team, construction teams, and BAS vendors to coordinate projects, provide updates, and support the successful integration of building automation systems. 

Responsibilities include overseeing projects involving new construction, system integration, and implementation of new technologies. You will collaborate with leading BAS vendors, including Johnson Controls, Siemens, Delta, and Honeywell, while coordinating project updates and ensuring system standards are effectively implemented across projects. 

A caregiver in this position works 7:00am—4:00pm or 8:00am—5:00pm. 

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Inspect, maintain and calibrate all temperature, humidity, and recording devices including meters and gauges.  

  • Read, write, modify, and maintain automated building software and hardware for designated systems. 

  • Maintain inventory and records for sensor and control devices related to digital and pneumatic systems. 

  • Troubleshoot, analyze and advise on system malfunctions and operational requirements.  

  • Ensure safe and effective operations and working environment.  

  • Respond to alarms, sensors, and alerts appropriately.  

  • Work may occasionally be assigned across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations.  

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent 

  • 5 years of experience working within one or more of the following areas: pneumatic systems, installation, maintenance or repair of Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems, ITD, or other related field 

  • Working knowledge of DDC systems, control theory, piping, blueprints and electrical circuits and schematics 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Project Management experience  

  • Retro-commissioning of building automation systems experience  

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods•

  • Ability to be mobile for extended periods of time•

  • Ability to travel throughout the Cleveland Clinic health system

  • •Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment•

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information•

  • Ability to move/transport items weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)•

  • Ability to move/transport equipment weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)•

  • Ability to move/transport carts weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)•

  • Ability to inspect equipment•

  • Ability to install, repair and maintain systems, equipment, fixtures and/or structures•

  • Ability to climb ladders

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
