About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will lead the execution and delivery of complex high-voltage transformer, medium-voltage transformer and substation equipment projects from contract award through commissioning and closeout. You will serve as the primary interface between customers, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, sales, and field service teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do
• Serve as the primary customer point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
• Lead end-to-end project execution for power transformers, distribution transformers, special-purpose transformers, and associated grid equipment.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, quality, testing, and field service.
• Monitor project milestones and proactively identify and mitigate risks impacting cost, quality, or delivery schedules.
• Manage project scope changes, contract variations, and customer-driven modifications while maintaining profitability objectives.
• Facilitate design reviews, production planning meetings, project status reviews, logistics communication, and third-party factory audits.
• Collaborate with teams in India overseeing equipment manufacturing progress and supply chain performance to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate transportation, site activities, installation support, commissioning, and project closeout documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, customer specifications, safety requirements, and quality management systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project execution efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
• Prepare and present project performance reports to customers, management, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications
• First Principles Thinking.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience within the power transmission, power distribution, transformer manufacturing, or electrical equipment industry preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale capital equipment or EPC-related projects from initiation through completion.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage transformers, substations, switchgear, circuit breakers, and utility infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience working directly with utilities, EPC contractors, renewable energy developers, industrial customers, or data center operators.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, contracts, schedules, and change orders.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, scheduling tools, and risk management practices.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential is a plus.
• Experience with ERP, project management, and manufacturing planning systems.
• Experience recognizing gaps, facilitating workshops, and building workflow initiatives from scratch preferred.
• Startup experience desired.
• Willingness to travel periodically to the US Headquarters in Mountain View, customer sites, manufacturing facilities, and project locations.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and adapt working schedules as required for team and customer communications.
