Position SummaryISGF's client is seeking an experienced
Project Manager to lead midstream energy projects from initial planning through completion. This role will manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and customer expectations while coordinating with engineering, operations, procurement, vendors, and field teams.
The ideal candidate has experience managing technical or engineering projects involving pipelines, compressor stations, rotating equipment, controls, automation, electrical systems, equipment upgrades, or commissioning.
Key Responsibilities- Manage midstream projects from initiation through final closeout.
- Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, schedules, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, field-service, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, documentation, and overall project performance.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective or mitigation plans.
- Lead internal and customer project meetings.
- Provide regular progress reports to customers and company stakeholders.
- Manage customer expectations, scope changes, and project priorities.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and cross-functional departments.
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, contractual, and financial requirements.
- Maintain accurate project schedules, reports, action items, and closeout documentation.
- Support multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced technical environment.
Qualifications- Five or more years of project-management experience in an engineering, energy, or industrial environment.
- Experience within midstream oil and gas, pipelines, compressor stations, rotating equipment, power generation, or related infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource planning.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings, specifications, technical documentation, and project contracts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
- Strong customer-management, technical-writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related field preferred.
- PMP, CAPM, or similar certification preferred.
- Familiarity with EPC contracts, controls systems, commissioning, or equipment upgrades is preferred.
- Ability to travel to customer and project sites as required.
