Full Job Description

Through close collaboration with key organizations within the U.S. Government and across Aerospace, and in alignment with the Aerospace International Strategy, International Futures provides direct technical services to allied countries to enable more capable, resilient, and interoperable space enterprises. As a Project Management Staff III – International Programs & Enterprise Architect Engineering, you will be managing international programs/projects with allied governments (military, civil, and IC), industry, academia, and non-profit organizations focused on space technology and systems architecting, development, and integration. 

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA or Crystal City, VA . 

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Develop, administer, and coordinate technical project plan and implementation and management tracking systems 
  • Create, analyze, and evaluate project goals, objectives, and milestones 
  • Institute and maintain project metrics and schedules 
  • Ensure compliance with project processes and procedural guidelines 
  • Collaborate and coordinate with management and the technical teams, and provide reports and analyses as needed 
  • Coordinate project communication issues, turning points, and achievements 
  • Provide facility and event management assistance, including technical meetings and workshops 
  • Remain flexible as duties, roles, and responsibilities may change 

What You Need to be Successful – Project Management Staff III, International Programs & Enterprise Architect Engineering  

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess six or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree 
  • Experience in project management tools and applications (Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.) 
  • Customer service orientation, and ability to work well in a dynamic team environment 
  • Able to quickly troubleshoot problems and prioritize tasks and projects 
  • Work under minimal supervision and work within timelines 
  • Available to travel domestically and internationally, as necessary 
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance. 

How You Can Stand Out

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:

  • Possess a graduate degree in a STEM discipline 
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs 
  • Project Management certification or equivalent project or program management experience 
  • Familiarity with international programs and armaments cooperation, including International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), Arms Export Control Act, Government-to-Government Agreements, and/or Foreign Military Sales 
  • Significant experience working directly with foreign governments and/or foreign industry, particularly in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East 
  • Experience briefing, or participate in meetings with, executive leadership - Aerospace, U.S. and foreign governments  
  • Remain flexible in daily time in the office based on business needs 
  • Handle multiple priorities and manage several projects concurrently 
  • Possess active SCI access or the ability to obtain it
