Full Job Description
Job Type: Full-Time / On-Site

In This Role, You Will:

  • Lead capital and expense projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective execution.

  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, funding requests, and resource plans to support successful project delivery.

  • Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, Health, Safety, Environmental and Security teams, contractors, and vendors to implement plant improvements and expansion initiatives.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks while providing clear project updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation challenges.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on energy efficiency, reliability, productivity, capacity growth, and cost reduction.

  • Support equipment commissioning, startup, testing, and operational readiness activities to ensure successful implementation.

  • Contribute to the site capital strategy by identifying opportunities to improve plant performance and long-term operational effectiveness.


Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

  • Minimum of five years of engineering experience, including project management responsibilities.

  • At least three years of experience in chemical manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, or a process-industry environment.

  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously while achieving schedule and budget objectives.

  • Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes, unit operations, and engineering fundamentals.

  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across all organizational levels.

  • Experience with project planning, cost estimation, budgeting, and capital project execution.


  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, automation, and chemical process systems.

  • Experience supporting equipment commissioning, startup, and operational readiness activities.


Preferred Qualifications that Drive You Forward

  • Experience managing capital projects within a chemical manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management, Management of Change, and Process Hazard Analysis methodologies.

  • Experience working with contractors, vendors, and external engineering firms.

  • Familiarity with engineering standards, project controls, and capital planning processes.

  • Professional Engineer license or progress toward licensure.
