Overview

Join the ENERCON Team as a Project Engineer, where growth opportunities abound. Our Nuclear License Renewal Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support Subsequent License Renewal Application projects. This is a high-visibility role where your work will directly contribute to extending operating life at nuclear facilities across the country. As a Project Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of planning and executing complex engineering tasks that result in a complete and accurate SLRA to be submitted to the NRC. This role is available in the following locations:
  • Kennesaw, GA
  • Chattanooga, TN
  • Glendale, AZ
  • Naperville, IL
  • Fort Worth, TX
  • Remote (by exception only)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or a related field) OR PMP Certification and 8 years' applicable experience
  • License Renewal experience and familiarization with NRC, NEI, and EPRI related guidance documents
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear or power industries as an Engineer or Project Manager
  • PE - Professional Engineer License is preferred
  • Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
  • Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
  • Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
  • Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a week

Compensation Range

USD $107,200.00 - USD $204,000.00 /Yr.
