Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years designing conveyor or material handling systems
• Familiarity with skid, pendulum, and overhead power & free systems
• Knowledge of drive and production rate calculations, safety standards
• Ability to interpret technical schematics and drawings
• Skilled in AutoCAD or similar design software
• Strong project coordination, organization, and communication
• Experience interacting with customers and cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of conveyor controls and SAP is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer conveyor systems for various applications
• Develop layouts and documentation based on project specs
• Evaluate existing installations and suggest improvements
• Perform engineering calculations for system performance
• Select equipment and coordinate with suppliers and contractors
• Manage project schedules and budgets for engineering deliverables
• Collaborate with CAD designers and engineering resources
• Participate in reviews, meetings, and technical discussions
• Support installation, startup, and commissioning as necessary
• Identify challenges and devise cost-effective solutions
