Overview

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of two active transit programs by providing day-to-day coordination support. Working closely with project teams, discipline leads, subcontractors, clients, and key stakeholders, this role serves as the central point of coordination for meetings, action tracking, project registers, communications, and reporting. The position helps ensure decisions are documented, commitments are followed through to completion, and project milestones are achieved safely, on schedule, and in alignment with project requirements.

Role will be at project site located at 9900 King George Blvd. Surrey, BC.

Your role
  • Coordinate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Coordinate project meetings, agendas, minutes, action logs, and follow-up activities to ensure decisions are documented, communicated, and progressed to completion.
  • Maintain and update project registers, filing systems, and document control processes, including change logs, early warning notices, delay events, RFIs, site instructions, deficiencies, version control, distribution lists, and records within SharePoint, Teams, and other project management platforms.
  • Support the System Engineering, System Integration and Project Director with project planning, reporting, dashboard preparation, change management tracking, and day-to-day administrative coordination activities.
  • Coordinate communications and information flow between project teams, discipline leads, consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor project schedules, deliverable submissions, transmittals, approvals, and review cycles; track action items, change requests, procurement activities, and stakeholder commitments; and identify and escalate delays, risks, and overdue items affecting project milestones.
  • Support project mobilization, onboarding, handover, and closeout activities, including turnover documentation, deficiencies, warranties, and as-built records.


About you
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Maintain and update project registers, filing systems, and document control processes, including change logs, early warning notices, delay events, RFIs, site instructions, deficiencies, version control, distribution lists, and records within SharePoint, Teams, and other project management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and project lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders, and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Additional information

Expected compensation for this role is between $80,700 - $111,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
