We are hiring for an experienced Project Civil/Site Engineer to join our
Pennoni team on a full-time, direct basis and contribute to land development projects and NJDEP land Use permitting while based out of our office in the Princeton, NJ area.
Primary Responsibilities:- Prepare site plan and subdivision designs with team of engineers and designers.
- Lead team of wetland delineators for mapping & reporting purposes.
- Lead team preparing and filing environmental permit applications as well as providing technical support for regulatory approvals associated with land development & infrastructure projects.
- Conduct field inspections and provide project oversight.
- Communicate with regulatory agencies and local government officials, as needed.
- Lead team preparing stormwater management designs and permitting.
Basic Requirements:- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field of study).
- 8 - 18 years of professional experience working in NJ on land development projects with NJDEP Land use permitting.
This person will be expected to periodically work in the field so they will be required to possess a Valid Driver's License and have a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge of wetland delineation parameters.
- PE license in state of New Jersey.
- Experience with NJDEP and local land use development regulatory programs.
- Experience with stormwater management design and permitting.
- Proficiency on relevant technical tools (e.g.: Civil 3D, CADD, GIS mapping software, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and attention-to-detail.
- Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
TARGET SALARY RANGE: $150K - $175k (per year)
