Full Job Description
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We're a diverse team with backgrounds in technology and entrepreneurship and we're growing rapidly to deliver on our mission. We're actively seeking a Program Manager in Seattle, who is an operational powerhouse, organized, and can manage multiple projects at one time. As a Program Manager you will be running the 3 - 6 months acceleration program up to twice a year by setting up events and networking sessions, own startup relationships, support business development with their corporate accounts and deal flows, prepare marketing collateral, order promotional materials and supplies for the team, and more.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

Programs and Operations
  • Design and own differentiated, high-impact, commercially focused accelerator programs for high-potential startups across the Enterprise AI and Healthcare sectors.
  • Serve as the central project management lead for the Seattle office and its partners, aligning stakeholders around key initiatives, responsibilities, timelines and milestones to ensure successful execution
  • Build relationships with startups in the accelerator program.
  • Hold intake interviews, exit interviews, and make sure all startups are on track to meet program goals.
  • Grow and maintain an ecosystem of mentors,VCs and service providers to bring more value to the program.
  • Set up sessions for startups to meet with Mentors, VC's and corporate partners for the program.
  • Collect feedback and develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Wrap up the program with a batch analysis report and individual startup report cards.


Event Management
  • Represent Plug and Play Seattle in the community, showing up at, hosting and co-hosting events with regional startup organizations, and turning that visibility into a steady dealflow pipeline for future batches.
  • Setup events, mentor sessions, workshops, office hours, deal flows to build up the program.
  • Book venue, brainstorm content, outreach speakers.
  • Inform our network about upcoming events.
  • Assist and coordinate travel arrangements with key individuals.
  • Prepare name tags, demo table signs, registration, printouts for events.
  • Meet on a regular basis with stakeholders to make communication easy and project manage to do for the team.
  • Create and co-host community events to continue engagement and grow the local ecosystem.
  • Create and host events in all formats: virtually, hybrid, and in person.
  • Follow given events budget.


Marketing
  • Coordinate a monthly newsletter / social media updates with the marketing team.
  • Prepare flyers and communication tools with our marketing team for major events such as: Selection Day, Meetups, EXPO
  • Be the go to source for all community efforts for the Plug and Play Seattle office - help build the brand, and get to the center of Seattle's technology ecosystem.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong process and analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and create improvements
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in public speaking
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
