Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Manager - Infrastructure/Tools to lead and manage critical internal tools and marketing operations within the Marketing Department. This role will define requirements and drive the development of internal tools and processes - including employee-facing platforms (internal software, communication tools, marketing portal), cross-functional tools (project management, analytics, data platforms), and infrastructure/operational products that serve other teams internally. The role will also manage sales tool enhancements, oversee ISO documentation, and maintain the Marketing Department Handbook. The ideal candidate will be proactive, process-driven, and comfortable collaborating across cross-functional teams, including with software developers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Internal Tools & Process Engineering
  • Define requirements and drive the development of internal tools and processes to improve marketing and sales efficiency.
  • Lead process reengineering initiatives to optimize marketing and sales workflows.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement best-practice improvements across marketing operations.
  • Focus on employee-facing tools and platforms (internal software, communication tools, marketing portal), cross-functional tools (project management, analytics, data platforms), and infrastructure/operational products that serve other teams internally.


Sales Tool Enhancement
  • Manage the sales tool enhancement process, including gathering requirements from sales and marketing stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications and user stories.
  • Interface with software developers and technical teams to prioritize, track, and implement enhancements.
  • Ensure timely delivery and testing of improvements to sales tools and platforms.


ISO Documentation & Compliance
  • Review, update, and maintain Work Instruction Procedures (WIPs) for ISO compliance (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Create new WIPs as required by the ISO team across marketing functions, including events, web, product samples, and collateral.
  • Lead pFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities and track department-level KPIs to support continuous improvement and ISO compliance for the Marketing Department.
  • Prepare required documents and support external ISO audit processes.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure documented procedures are current and accurate.


Marketing SOP Handbook Management
  • Own and maintain the Marketing Department's SOP handbook.
  • Work closely with team leads across creative, communications, social media, advertising, web, product marketing, and events to document and refine standard processes.
  • Ensure SOP content is clear, consistent, and aligned with overall brand and compliance standards.


Additional Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute channel marketing strategies and activities to support partner enablement and joint go-to-market efforts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams to align programs with business objectives.
  • Monitor program performance, generate insights and reports, and recommend enhancements for greater efficiency and impact.
  • Support additional marketing operations and program initiatives as required.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Candidates with a Marketing or Business degree and strong process engineering experience will also be considered.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in product management, process engineering, program management, or operations roles, ideally in the server, storage, AI, or hardware industry.
  • Strong background in process engineering, reengineering workflows, and implementing operational improvements.
  • Hands-on technical background with servers, components (CPUs, memory, storage), or data center environments is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience defining requirements, driving internal tool and process development, managing operational programs, compliance processes (e.g., ISO), and working with software development teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts and data insights for both internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), and program management platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills
  • Direct experience with technical customer programs or hardware procurement.
  • Background in channel marketing in the IT/server/AI hardware space.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
  • Understanding of high-performance computing, AI systems, or data center solutions.


Salary Range

$100,000 - $125,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
