Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add aProduction Planning Manager to our Global Procurement & Supply Chain organization. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain or Operations, theProduction Planning Managerwill lead production planning and scheduling strategies that ensure the efficient flow of materials and products across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving production forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, capacity planning, and delivery performance while partnering with operations, procurement, program management, and customers to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who can balance customer demand, operational capacity, and supply chain constraints in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Lead the development and execution of production forecasts, master schedules, capacity plans, and inventory strategies to support customer requirements and operational goals.
  • Partner with operations, procurement, materials, and program management teams to proactively address material constraints, production disruptions, and demand fluctuations while maintaining schedule adherence.
  • Drive production planning, shop scheduling, dispatching, and production control processes to optimize throughput, inventory levels, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Develop and analyze operational reports, revenue forecasts, annual operating plans (AOP), and key performance metrics to support leadership decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and develop planning teams while partnering with customers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure delivery commitments, successful product launches, and achievement of business objectives.

The Experience We're Looking to Add to the Team

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in production planning, master scheduling, materials management, capacity planning, forecasting, and inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in production planning, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or a related field, including leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading production planning teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, demand planning, inventory optimization, and production scheduling methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex operational data and translate insights into action plans.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Master's Degree
  • APICS/CPIM, CSCP, CPM Certification
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, or other high-volume manufacturing environments
