Full Job Description
The Position

Act as product cost analyst to relevant stakeholders based on designated process responsibility within Finance. Use available data & business knowledge to create insights, to help stakeholders, make decisions & take actions. Establish & sustain optimal planning, controlling & forecasting processes for designated areas. Ensure solid financial deliverables to relevant stakeholders. Safeguard financial production cost targets.

Reports to Manager, Finance.

Essential Functions
  • Analyse & report on Production economy, including raw material consumption, yield performance & unit cost
  • Manage the Material Costing, Overhead Allocations & Inventory Value processes, ensuring accuracy & timely handling of the processes
  • Manage the Scrap & Yield reporting, analysis & improvement initiatives
  • Provide business intelligence support to stakeholders, including creation & improvement of relevant analytical tools
  • Drive material costing process & Master data compliance
  • Ensure increase of financial understanding of product costing across the organization by offering training & participating in cross area processes, site visits, etc
  • Drive timely & solid delivery of formal submissions & ad-hoc requests within area of expertise
  • Ensure that financial deliverables are aligned to requirements from Finance
  • Safeguard that process areas meet financial targets by using continuous analysis, follow-up & suggesting corrective/preventive actions to production responsibles, Directors & CVP
  • Represent site in financial matters as needed, including central forums & work groups
  • Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
  • Other accountabilities, as assigned.


Physical Requirements

Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field of study from an accredited university required
  • Master's degree in logistics, finance or related field of study preferred
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing cost controlling, maintenance or process required, preferably in a pharmaceutical or other regulated industry
  • Minimum of five (5) years of financial analytical & financial accounting experience required
  • High degree of experience with managing & delivering complex strategy deployment & long-term target settings required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of SAP product costing experience required
  • Advanced knowledge within corporate finance systems, preferably within pharmaceutical industries required
  • Advanced knowledge & ability to proactively support central or local business cases & decision-making involving areas of process responsibility required
