Responsibilities

Team Introduction: The TikTok Shop Ads team builds advertising solutions that help merchants and brands grow their business on TikTok Shop. Our flagship automated solution, GMV Max, helps advertisers drive sales by simplifying campaign setup while automating delivery and ad optimization. This role will focus on the GMV Max creative pillar, which helps advertisers source, manage, understand, and improve the creatives used in their campaigns. As creative quality and volume are critical to GMV Max performance, this team builds products across creative management, AI-generated creatives, creative insights, recommendations, and testing tools. As a Product Manager Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful, short-term projects that give you hands-on experience with real advertising products. You will learn how product teams identify customer problems, define solutions, work with cross-functional partners, and measure impact in a fast-paced global environment. This role is a strong opportunity to build practical product management skills while exploring your interest in ads, e-commerce, and AI-powered creative products. Project Intern: As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Responsibilities: - Improve GMV Max creative products across creative management, AI-generated creatives, creative insights, and creative testing. - Analyze advertiser behavior, campaign performance, and creative-level data to identify user pain points and product improvement opportunities. - Help translate advertiser needs and data insights into clear product requirements, user stories, success metrics, and launch materials. - Partner with Design, Engineering, Data Science, Product Marketing, and Operations to support product execution from discovery through launch. - Conduct user research, competitive research, and workflow analysis to better understand how advertisers source, manage, and optimize creatives. - Support post-launch analysis by tracking adoption, funnel performance, experiment results, and advertiser feedback. - Contribute to product documentation, internal updates, and GTM materials for global product rollouts

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields. - Academic background in computer science or related fields, with technical experience or project work preferred - Strong logical thinking and data analysis skills, with the ability to break down, analyze, and solve complex problems - Strong organizational, planning, communication, and execution skills; self-motivated and responsible, able to drive projects independently with reliability and simplicity - Able to intern for 3 months or longer; candidates available to work 5 days a week are preferred. - Must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during Summer 2026. - Prior internship or project experience in product management, ads, e-commerce, creator/creative tools, or data analysis is preferred. [For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $35- $55.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
