Eaton's Global Distributed IT organization is seeking a Product Manager - Power Cords, Chargers and Medical Surge to join our team in Woodridge, IL.
The Product Manager will plan, manage, and oversee the formulation of short-term tactical plans, long-term strategic objectives, and business plans for D-IT's ~$30M (annual revenue) Power Cords, Chargers and Medical Surge products.
This role maintains key organizational relationships with global manufacturing and engineering facilities, marketing team members, and other key stakeholders.
The PM will manage multiple metrics, including sales volume targets, new and existing market penetration, price realization, profitability, and overall product quality. The PM will also determine the forecasts for their relevant products and participate in the forecasting process from a PM perspective. New product introduction will also be a key part of the PM's job, as they will help direct NPI actions for product development into new and existing markets
The expected annual salary range for this role is $80,000 - $126,000 a year.

What you'll do:- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned product lines (concept 12 launch 12 sustain 12 EOL).
- Increase revenues / market share and margins
- Develop new business opportunities
- Perform market research to determine new vertical markets as well as investigating and tracking economic conditions affecting IT and electrical industries
- Research market needs and trends to develop and own product roadmaps
- Develop clear value propositions by vertical (Corporate, Education, Healthcare, Industrial).
- Build product roadmaps aligned with market transitions
- Increase revenues / market share and margins
- Determine annual profit plan and drive sales and marketing initiatives to meet forecasts by developing annual sales plans per region
Market & Competitive Analysis- Analyze competitors and identify displacement opportunities.
- Track standards and technologies
- Translate market trends into actionable product requirements
Sales & Channel Enablement
- Build sales tools: battlecards, positioning briefs, presentations, and objection handling.
- Train sales and channel partners.
- Identify and participate in tradeshows and conferences as well as conduct sales calls
- Support key customer and integrator engagements as the product authority.
Cross-Functional Leadership- Act as the primary liaison between Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support.
- Drive requirements clarity, prioritize features based on customer impact, and manage tradeoffs transparently.
Qualifications:Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of three (3) years of Product Management experience
- Willing to travel up to 25%
- No relocation assistance is available for this position. Candidates must be located within a 50-mile radius of Woodridge, IL. Active Duty Military Service Member candidates are exempt from these geographic requirements.

Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated track record driving product line growth
- Understanding Product Development processes or similar stage gate processes
- Experience with SAP, Enovia, CRM, and Office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power Bl)
