About the role:We are seeking an exceptional Product Manager to join our Data Ecosystem team. This role will report to the Product Lead for Data Ecosystem. This team owns the infrastructure and data that powers Garner's transformative approach to delivering high-quality and affordable care. In this role, you'll be given wide-ranging responsibility to shape how Garner ingests and governs the data that powers our business and how we ensure quality and security from the start.
Where you will work:This role will be based in our New York City office (in the Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:- Develop the roadmap for ingesting and processing client data, shaping our strategy and developing scalable and consistent approaches that ensure quality and speed
- Own the experience for connecting to client data and making it available to internal consumers to process member payments efficiently and report results to clients
- Embed deeply with internal teams, employers, and integration partners to understand their pain points and develop product ideas
- Drive new product and feature development from ideation to launch
- Develop prototypes and build and ship minor features end to end
- Define success metrics for every initiative, ensuring we have the data in place to measure outcomes and rallying the team around what winning looks like and how we get there
The ideal candidate has:- 2-4 years of product management experience, ideally on data platforms, integrations, or infrastructure products
- Experience with data ingestion and file-based data exchange (e.g., claims, eligibility, or payments data) and partnering closely with data engineering teams
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on using data to define success metrics, drive decisions, and measure outcomes
- Technical fluency - comfort working with data pipelines, writing basic SQL, building prototypes, and shipping minor features end-to-end
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with comfort working across technical and non-technical teams and external integration partners
- A high level of autonomy and ownership - able to move quickly and independently in ambiguous problem spaces
- 1 year of working in an AI-forward development environment

Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws.
