Full Job Description
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Product Line Manager will exhibit a strong understanding of information flow and product flow within a manufacturing environment. In addition to having a problem solving, go getter personality, the ideal candidate must be able to identify cost saving opportunities with respect to the operation and personnel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversees daily activities of the product line, including production and shipping performance.
Manage production schedules to meet customer requirements, cost and quality goals. Including interfacing with quality, supply chain, HR and other disciplines to achieve goals.
Facilitate team communication and conflict resolution including team learning of process or interpersonal skills.
Develop, recommend, and implement initiatives to improve production metrics and financial performance.
Lead the production line function by collaboratively overseeing all other aspects of the production environment including: safety culture, quality, developing subordinates, maintenance, interfacing with customers, and financial results.
Contribute to the success of Dynamic's business by sharing information and applying company-wide best practices.
Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Assures product and process quality by testing finished product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
Oversees design and development projects while ensuring training of technicians.
Oversees installation to ensure tools and equipment are installed and functioning according to the needs of the product.
Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to meet our customers' expectations
Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards

Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
