About the RoleMost CRM products were built for sales managers, not the people who actually use them. Clarify is different - and the single-player, self-serve experience is where that difference gets proven.
You'll own Clarify's PLG surface area end-to-end - with the whole product ahead of you and the freedom to change what needs changing. This isn't a feature team. There's no backlog to pull from and no spec to wait on. You'll walk the product, identify the biggest gaps, and ship. The goal: take self-serve from early traction to a repeatable, growing revenue channel - and you'll be shipping toward it starting week one.
What you'll do- Review the product end-to-end and identify the highest-impact gaps in the activation and retention experience
- Ship meaningful product improvements starting in week one - multiple changes per week at full velocity
- Own the PLG surface area completely - product decisions, UX decisions, prioritization; no handoffs
- Build the measurement framework for the activation funnel - establish what we track and use it to drive what to ship next
- Work directly with the founding team to define what great self-serve looks like as Clarify scales
Your background- You've shipped product improvements at high velocity in a startup environment - with minimal direction, starting quickly, and continuing to ship frequently
- Strong product judgment: you can walk a product, identify what's slowing users down, and prioritize the highest-impact fixes without being told what they are
- Strong design taste - you have opinions about why things should feel the way they do, and you can execute on them
- You've talked to customers directly, not because it was assigned but because it was the only way to know if what you were building was right
- You care about the CRM and go-to-market problem space - the mission matters to you, not just the craft
- Technical execution capability across the stack; PM or designer backgrounds with strong engineering skills are welcome
- Prior experience with PLG or growth mechanics (activation loops, onboarding flows, self-serve conversion)
- Bonus: Experience at a company that scaled through self-serve
