Responsibilities

  • Support the Product Development and Production team in tracking work-in-progress, fabrics, samples, and approvals
  • Prepare and organize vendor packages with swatches and shipment documentation
  • Monitor sample and material shipments, keeping the team informed of status updates
  • Maintain accurate documentation in PLM, work-in-progress trackers, costing sheets, and production calendars
  • Assist in executing the seasonal SKU plan for various product categories
  • Follow up with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Assist in creating and updating items and purchase orders in the ERP system

About This Role

We are looking for a dynamic Product Development & Production Associate to supports the day-to-day operations of the Product Development and Production team by coordinating samples, materials, and vendor communication to ensure all seasonal milestones are met. This role will work closely with cross-functional partners and external vendors to execute the development from concept through production.

Role and Responsibilities

As the Product Development & Production Associate, your primary responsibilities include the following:
  • Support the Product Development and Production team in tracking WIPs, fabrics, samples and approvals to ensure calendar milestones are met.
  • Prepare and organize vendor packages, including swatches, reference samples, and shipment documentation.
  • Monitor and track sample and material shipments, keeping the team updated on timing and delivery status.
  • Maintain accurate data in PLM, WIP trackers, costing sheets, and production calendars.
  • Support the execution of the seasonal SKU plan for Apparel, Shoes, and Accessories, helping ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Follow up with vendors and internal teams to support on-time development and production milestones.
  • Assist with item and purchase order creation and updates in ERP system (Netsuite).
  • Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as needed to support the Product Development and Production team.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in product development, production, or a related role within apparel, footwear, or accessories.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts while keeping timelines and priorities in check.
  • Strong in Excel and comfortable navigating Microsoft Office and digital tracking tools.
  • Experience with PLM (WFX a plus).
  • Experience with ERP (Netsuite a plus).
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and confident communicator - written, verbal, and visual.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from others while taking initiative where you can.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, lift up to 30 lbs, and move between work areas throughout the day.
