Could you be the full-time Project Procurement Manager in Toronto, Canada, we're looking for?
Your future roleTake on a new challenge and apply your procurement expertise in a transformative infrastructure project. You'll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in reducing the carbon footprint of Canada's busiest public transit system and contribute to the On-Corridor Works project, which is transforming collective mobility in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA). Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business, including Legal, Sub-System Managers (SSMs), and Procurement Platform Directors, to define strategies, ensure quality, and manage sourcing activities, and much more.
You'll specifically take care of defining and implementing the Project Procurement Strategy and ensuring QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments are met, but also coordinate sourcing activities and manage risks and cost performance.
We'll look to you for:
- Defining and implementing the Project Procurement Strategy in alignment with QCD commitments.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement strategies are shared, understood, and applied.
- Managing buyers and procurement teams to ensure their contributions align with project goals.
- Coordinating procurement launch meetings and monitoring supplier progress and challenges.
- Ensuring project-specific legal requirements are applied and adhered to.
- Building and consolidating Material Work Packages, including cost, risk, and improvement plans.

- Master's degree in purchasing, engineering, project management, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in project, sourcing, engineering, or quality roles.
- Strong knowledge of electrification or infrastructure procurement activities, including power supply, overhead catenary systems, and subcontracted procurement packages.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive results.
- Rigorous, structured, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- An international mindset and fluency in English.

CompensationThe expected compensation for this role is$110,000 - $145,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
