  • Recommend and implement equipment and process modifications for improving efficiency and yield.
  • Develop and conduct statistical analyses like Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Interact with product design and development teams to ensure compatibility of processes and designs.
  • Participate in internal and external IATF audits, ensuring control documents are current.
  • Collaborate with downstream departments to resolve production interruptions.
  • Guide junior engineers and technicians.

Full Job Description
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Providing technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area in Crystal Growth.
  • Maintains record of calibration and verification of measurement devices used in manufacturing documents.
  • Owns standard operating procedures and associated trainings for manufacturing processes.
  • Recommending and implements equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products.
  • Developing and conducting statistical analysis such as Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) targeting physical cause of failure for yield loss and improving quality.
  • Interacting with product design and development personnel to ensure that processes and designs are compatible.
  • Participating in internal and external IATF audits and ensuring all control documentations (PFD, PFMEA, and PCP) are up to date.
  • Collaborating with downstream departments, facilities, logistics and software teams to resolve interruptions to production.
  • Providing guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
