In addition to using an existing external network and centers of influence, you will collaborate with internal partners, including CIBC Private Wealth Management and CIBC Commercial Banking, to garner new relationships. Complete necessary analysis and documentation to achieve credit actions (e.g., structure, waivers, and modifications).

  • Facilitate credit and underwriting processes - Work closely with Underwriting, Group Portfolio Managers, and Credit Risk Management to structure deals that meet client needs while mitigating risk. Act as the quarterback to drive deals through the underwriting and closing process.

  • Collaborate with internal partners - Partner with CIBC Private Wealth Management Relationship Managers and other team members to achieve ultimate approval for new business and modifications to existing business, including active participation in and adherence to requirements of pre-screen and relationship strategy meetings. Identify product/service opportunities for other business units and participate in development of creative solutions to client needs, coordinate presentations, and bring in partners when appropriate

  • Leverage technology for client engagement - Ensure Salesforce activity is up to date, tracking client interactions, opportunities, and referrals.

  • Actively participate in the market - Act as an ambassador for CIBC through active participation in local market and industry events to maintain current market knowledge and develop new client relationships.
