Are you a seasoned WAN Architect with a passion for revolutionizing network and security platforms? NCR Voyix is seeking a Principal WAN Architect to spearhead our efforts in modernizing transport and customer connectivity both on-premise and in the cloud. As the Principal WAN Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our network infrastructure, driving innovation, and enhancing customer experience. Leveraging your expertise in network architecture, security protocols, and cloud technologies, you will design and implement cutting-edge solutions to optimize connectivity, enhance performance, and ensure the security of our network ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to modernize our WAN infrastructure and enhance customer connectivity, aligning network architecture with business objectives and industry best practices. Network Design and Implementation: Design, architect, and implement scalable and resilient WAN solutions that support our evolving business needs, leveraging the latest technologies and protocols. Cloud Integration: Lead efforts to integrate WAN connectivity with cloud platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance for cloud-based applications and services. Security Compliance: Implement robust security measures and protocols to safeguard our network infrastructure and customer data, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize WAN performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, latency issues, and other performance challenges to deliver an exceptional user experience. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, evaluating and selecting vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
