About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Enterprise Compliance Architect to provide enterprise-wide leadership across large-scale ERP transformation initiatives, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA and master data governance. In this role, you will define and drive compliance architecture strategies, ensuring controls, risk management, and governance are embedded within core ERP design. You will partner with technology, finance, and compliance leaders to deliver scalable, automated, and audit-ready processes across key business areas such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report. This role plays a critical part in enabling "compliance by design" and strengthening enterprise control maturity.

What You'll Do
  • Define and govern enterprise compliance architecture strategy for SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
  • Lead design and implementation of embedded controls, workflow governance, and audit-ready ERP processes
  • Align SAP configuration and system design with SOX/SOC control requirements and business process controls
  • Drive compliance architecture for master data governance (Simple MDG), ensuring auditability and end-to-end control coverage
  • Lead integration of compliance frameworks across ERP and adjacent platforms within V4 and enterprise programs
  • Design and implement automation strategies for approvals, segregation of duties (SoD), and audit trails
  • Integrate ERP systems with GRC platforms (e.g., ServiceNow IRM, SAP GRC) to support continuous monitoring and control testing
  • Provide architectural guidance to cross-functional ERP, data, and platform teams for compliance-driven decision making
  • Lead governance reviews, resolve complex cross-domain issues, and advise executive stakeholders on risk and trade-offs
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals.


Basic Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 13+ years of relevant experience
  • 12-15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, ERP transformation, or IT compliance roles
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations in enterprise environments
  • Strong experience with master data governance (MDG), including customer, vendor, and material domains
  • Deep expertise in SOX, SOC, ITGCs, and business process controls
  • Experience integrating ERP platforms with GRC tools (e.g., ServiceNow IRM, SAP GRC)
  • Proven experience designing and implementing compliance-by-design frameworks in ERP systems
  • Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs and influencing senior stakeholders


Preferred Skills / Experience
  • Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries
  • Strong understanding of automation strategies for compliance and audit readiness
  • Experience driving enterprise-wide standardization of controls and governance frameworks.

$149,600 - $199,500
