RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: No CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 50% of the Time Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking either a Principal Facilities Representative - Level 3 or a Senior Principal Facilities Representative - Level 4, inviting you to bring your pioneering spirit to our collaborative teams. As a Principal Facilities Representative - Level 3 or a Senior Principal Facilities Representative - Level 4 located in Bethpage, NY, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: • Serve as the primary facilities’ technical advisor to senior management on leased and owned building and property related matters. • Maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors; act as the liaison for all maintenance and construction activities. • Interpret complex building codes, regulations, and internal procedures; provide clear guidance to internal teams and subcontractors. • Review contractors work to ensure compliance with drawings, codes, and corporate standards. • Respond to emergency maintenance calls 24/7 and coordinate rapid resolution. • Lead small‑to‑medium facility modification projects from scope definition through close‑out. Create statements of work, schedule contractor support, and track milestones. • Manage cost estimates, budget forecasts, and status reports for ongoing projects and maintenance programs by implementing preventive‑maintenance schedules, documenting performance and adjusting as needed and track and complete work using computer maintenance management system (Maximo). • Receive, manage, and process work order request in a timely manner, document processes and maintain all applicable records in database(s). • Prepare and present technical progress reports to stakeholders on a regular basis. • Scheduling of contractor labor. • Permitting, safety requirements and oversight for infrastructure safety and labor. • Other duties as assigned. This position may be filled as either a Principal Facilities Representative - Level 3 or a Senior Principal Facilities Representative - Level 4 depending on qualification below Basic Qualifications for the Level 3: • Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management and/or Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or other related field with 5 Years of related experience; OR a master’s degree in stated fields with 3 years of related experience • An additional 4 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree • Must be able to positively interact with workers, contractors, management, and customers • Successful experience in vendor negotiations, facility improvements, and relevant construction projects • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across geographically dispersed locations. Basic Qualifications for the Level 4: • Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management and/or Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or other related field with 8 Years of related experience; OR a master’s degree in stated fields with 6 years of related experience • An additional 4 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree • Must be able to positively interact with workers, contractors, management, and customers • Successful experience in vendor negotiations, facility improvements, and relevant construction projects • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across geographically dispersed locations. Preferred Qualifications: • Excellent interpersonal skills • Interpersonal communication experience with all levels of management • Prior experience in Aerospace facilities in a manufacturing production environment • Experience in project management and Project planning. • Ability to read drawings, schematics, and interpret details • Experience in permitting processes, demolition, hazard abatement. • Experience with Maximo, BMS, and Microsoft software. Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
