NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is a nonprofit academic medical center located in New York City. The hospital is affiliated with two Ivy League medical schools, Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons and Weill Cornell Medical College. NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital provides a wide range of medical services, including cancer care, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, and pediatrics. The hospital was formed in 1998 with the merger of two hospitals, New York Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital. Today, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in the United States and is consistently ranked as one of the best hospitals in the country.
