We are hiring a Senior Manager, Facilities who will be responsible for the overall management and operational effectiveness of facilities supporting manufacturing and business operations. This role leads facilities teams and oversees the planning, maintenance, safety, and performance of buildings, utilities, critical infrastructure, and related facility systems. The Senior Manager establishes operational objectives, manages resources and budgets, and oversees facility modifications and capital improvements aligned with site and organizational priorities. This role partners across functions to maintain safe, compliant, and reliable facilities while supporting business continuity and future operational needs.
Location- Photonics' Brookfield CT office. This is an on-site position, and we are not open to remote candidates at this time.
Responsibilities- Lead facilities operations supporting buildings, utilities, critical infrastructure, and related facility systems.
- Establish operational objectives, priorities, and work plans for facilities operations in alignment with site and organizational needs.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to support equipment and facility performance and continuity of operations.
- Plan and oversee facility modifications, renovations, expansions, and capital improvement projects, including associated schedules, resources, and costs.
- Develop and manage facilities operating budgets and capital plans; monitor expenditures and allocate resources to support operational priorities.
- Oversee building space planning and allocation to support manufacturing, operational, and organizational requirements.
- Oversee environmental programs and the Environmental Management System, including compliance with applicable environmental requirements and company standards.
- Ensure facilities operations comply with applicable health, safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Manage complex facility and infrastructure issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurring problems.
- Oversee contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure work meets established safety, quality, cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
- Support emergency preparedness, business continuity, and facility response activities to minimize operational disruption.
- Lead, develop, and evaluate facilities personnel; ensure appropriate staffing, resource planning, and performance across areas of responsibility.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of facilities policies, standards, and practices.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Experience- 10+ years of experience in facilities management, facilities engineering, plant operations, or a related field, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Prior people management experience required
Education- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; Master's degree in a related field a plus
