The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as a Principal Delivery Consultant you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. You'll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current EDA and manufacturing infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors to our customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, you will be responsible for the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.
Your focus will span EDA workload migration, smart manufacturing, digital twins, and generative AI applications for chip design and verification. You'll partner with technology leaders to assess their current state, architect cloud-native solutions, and deliver transformative engagements across the entire chip value chain.
Key job responsibilities
As an experienced technology professional, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions for semiconductor customers - including high-performance computing environments for chip design, simulation, and verification
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery, incorporating smart manufacturing solutions such as industrial data fabric, digital twins, and computer vision for defect detection
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies for EDA workloads and manufacturing systems
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on semiconductor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices for cloud adoption
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts - including reference architectures and AI/ML workflows for accelerating the design-to-fab process
A day in the life
Your morning might start with a working session alongside a semiconductor customer's engineering team, helping them optimize their EDA compute environment for faster tape-out cycles. After lunch, you're whiteboarding a computer vision architecture for automated wafer inspection with a solutions architect and account manager. Later, you're refining a proof-of-concept that uses generative AI to accelerate chip verification workflows. Between customer calls, you're contributing to a reference architecture that will help the next customer get to value faster.
