As a Pre-Sales Software Solution Architect, you will help healthcare organizations plan, design, and implement complex oncology software solutions that support clinicians, streamline operations, and enhance the patient experience.
This highly visible, customer-facing role sits at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and project delivery. You will partner with Sales, Service, Software Upgrades, and Project Management teams to assess customer environments, define technical requirements, develop implementation strategies, and ensure project readiness before deployment begins.
What You Will Do- Lead customer-facing discovery and planning sessions.
- Develop Software Introductory Implementation Plans (IIPs), project scope, timelines, assumptions, and risks.
- Create system topology and infrastructure diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
- Evaluate networks, servers, security, cloud, and virtualized environments.
- Present recommendations to IT teams, clinical leaders, CIOs, and executives.
- Perform quote readiness reviews and ensure smooth handoffs to implementation teams.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Project Management, Healthcare IT, Solution Architecture, Software Deployment, or Technical Implementation experience.
- Strong Healthcare IT experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of network architecture, security systems, servers, and enterprise IT environments.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer-facing consulting skills.
- Ability to work remotely within the Pacific Time Zone (PST).
Preferred Qualifications- PMP Certification.
- Oncology industry experience.
- Experience with Varian software solutions.
- Cloud and virtualization experience.
- Experience working with executive stakeholders.

The base pay range for this position is:
$89,220 - $122,672
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
