Oregon SurgiCenter has a Full-Time, Pre-Op/PACU RN opportunity available.The
Pre-Op/PACU RN provides surgical post operative care in our ambulatory surgery center for patients of the clinic.
Duties: - Utilizes specialized nursing knowledge, nursing process and discriminative judgment while giving direct or indirect care.
- Assesses physical and emotional needs of patients and implements appropriate nursing interventions.
- Is knowledgeable of and in compliance with administrative, medical, and nursing policies and procedures.
- Receives and documents physician orders.
- Is knowledgeable about and responsive to emergency situations (i.e., cardiac arrest, malignant hyperthermia, drug reaction, fire, etc.).
Experience:- Minimum of 2 years recent Pre-Op/PACU experience or equivalent preferred.
Education:- ACLS & PALS certifications preferred but will be required within 6 months of hire.
- Current healthcare level CPR certification is required.
- Current RN license is required.

a Full-time position (32 hours/week).
