Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of power engineering studies or electrical design in commercial/industrial projects
• Experience in a consulting engineering firm is a strong asset
• Proven experience in project engineering proposals and customer presentations
• Microgrid and electrical site audit experience is beneficial
• Familiarity with power system analysis software, preferably ETAP
• Valid P.Eng. License or registration as an EIT
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform power system engineering analysis in areas such as protection coordination and short-circuit calculations
• Evaluate analysis findings and create detailed reports with recommendations
• Implement electrical design improvements in line with customer sustainability goals
• Collaborate with the Solutions Sales team to identify customer needs and potential energy solutions
• Conduct on-site customer meetings to assess and discuss requirements
• Prepare engineering cost estimates and bid proposals
• Ensure electrical systems meet safety, reliability, and economic standards
• Provide technical support and maintain quality control for projects
• Manage project timelines and foster long-term customer relationships
• Travel to various customer locations across Canada
