About the role .

The Portfolio Manager is responsible for guiding business and technology leaders to define and deliver a portfolio of changes that meet business objectives and maximize value delivery. The role demands active engagement in day-to-day activities and direct involvement in project planning, execution and problem-solving.

What you'll be doing.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology portfolio roadmap aligned with McCain's business objectives and long-term goals.
  • Facilitate visibility and transparency of work in progress by ensuring required governance and communication forums are established and executed.
  • Provide and facilitate portfolio-level reporting to executives, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure portfolio financials are well understood and accurately forecast , taking a proactive role in financial management and reporting.
  • Lead a team of project managers and scrum masters to deliver technology and business outcomes, providing hands-on coaching, regular feedback, and removing barriers to progress.
  • Serve as an effective escalation poin t and provide quality assurance oversight for methodology adherence and standards of deliverables.
  • Support delivery leadership on third-party spend decisions , actively identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring third parties meet contractual obligations.
  • Maintain workforce plans to ensure the right mix of skills is available at the right time and location, and allocate resources based on established priorities.
  • Partner with change management colleagues to identify change delivery requirements and support the execution of plans, providing hands-on portfolio context and expertise as needed.
  • Support Digital Technology Senior Leadership Team members on engagement, communication, and other ad hoc delivery requests, demonstrating a proactive and action-oriented approach.

About the team.

Reporting to the VP, Technology Strategy and Transformation the Portfolio Manager will have 3 direct reports.

Compensation Package : $102,700.00 - $137,000.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility
