We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to support the management, optimization, and predictability of IT investments. In this strategic role, you will have the opportunity to exercise your leadership, innovate, and influence business directions within the IT function. You will actively contribute to establishing sustainable practices, improving portfolio performance, and creating value for the organization.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:Strategic Portfolio Management
- Present necessary information to decision-making stakeholders to guide portfolio decisions: project addition, suspension, merger, or abandonment, cadence adjustment, etc., with the goal of resource optimization.
- Ensure the strategic alignment of the portfolio with executive priorities and corporate goals.
- Optimize investment value.
Steering, Trade-offs, and Resource Allocation
- Support portfolio steering by consolidating key information and facilitating trade-offs related to budget, capacity, and resources.
- Identify priority risks and issues and propose decision scenarios that allow for optimal resource allocation.
Monitoring, Governance, and Communication
- Communicate a clear, structured, and synthesized overview of the portfolio's status to decision-makers and stakeholders, including resource utilization, performance, risks, and decisions made.
- Maintain rigorous traceability of directions, decisions, and changes.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- More than ten (10) years of experience in project management, project control, and portfolio management within complex organizational environments undergoing transformation.
- Proven ability to thrive in a role with a strong strategic component, including planning, prioritization, and aligning initiatives with the organizational vision.
- Engaging leadership style focused on collaboration, influence, and informed decision-making.
- Excellent ability to navigate a fast-changing environment while maintaining consistency, performance, and stakeholder alignment.
- Exceptional rigor in monitoring, governance, and work organization.
- Strong capacity for analysis, synthesis, and solving complex problems.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including:
- Excel (advanced level)
- MS Project
- Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Great ease with interpersonal interactions, stakeholder management, and communicating with corporate executives.
