Full Job Description
The role will include, but is not limited to, the following functions:

  • Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility.
  • Focus on increasing production, capacity, and flexibility, while minimizing costs, adhering to established quality standards, and consistently meeting shipping requirements.
  • Meet financial objectives and goals by forecasting requirements and supporting the annual budget process.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects through out all plant functional groups.
  • Responsible for assuring customer satisfaction through lead time, on-time delivery, and product quality.
  • Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Foster and promote a positive, safe, and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Provide training and educational materials to staff as necessary.
  • Direct oversight of plant-based department/functional managers, including but not limited to production, quality, materials, and human resources.
  • Work with company directors to roll out and create buy in of company-wide initiatives.
  • Responsible for determining facility staffing levels, approving expenditures, preparing and filing internal and external reports.
  • Serves as primary customer contact at the plant level.
