Title:
Plans and Strategy Lead

This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Plans and Strategy Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for shaping the long-range operational vision, strategic direction, and mission planning framework for a Space Operations Center. This role ensures the organization is postured to meet current and emerging space mission demands by integrating strategic guidance, operational concepts, and enterprise priorities into actionable plans

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Applies broad expertise to the join planning processes and COCOM processes to evolve IC participation and input into daily operations.
  • Focuses on quality of the training the exercises provide and the follow-on implementation of that training into procedures, orders, plans, tools and crew qualification products.


Required Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree plus 11 years of relevant space domain awareness / operations experience with demonstrated expertise or bachelor's degree with 12 years of relevant experience with demonstrated experience with demonstrated expertise or No Degree with 14 years of relevant experience with demonstrated experience with demonstrated expertise
  • 7 years combined experience in IC and/or DOD exercises and planning processes
  • 2 years combined relevant operations floor and/or project management experience working with other IC organizations and Combatant Commands
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly required to be considered
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Be able to perform contract tasks independently and lead teams


Basic Compensation:

$191,100 - $$233,600

This range is for the Virginia area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
