New Grads with Clinical placements in acute care or rehabilitation are welcome to apply !Position Summary:This is a Temporary Full-Time role for 6 months.The Physiotherapist will work at the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital within our Mobile Rehab Team (MRT). Mobile Rehabilitation Team (MRT) delivers in-situ, high-frequency rehabilitation to medically stable patients across acute-care units.
Responsibilities- Conducting assessments
- Formulating goals and recommendations
- Planning and implementing client-centered, goal-directed treatment programs
- Discharge planning
Requirements- A graduate of an accredited program in Physiotherapy and are a member in good standing of the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario
- Experience in managing patients in acute/rehab environments
- Reliable, flexible, creative, self-directed professional, able to work effectively and collaboratively with rehab assistants as well as with a high-performance interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Sound knowledge of community resources is an asset
- Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- A positive work and attendance record is essential
- Ability to adapt to new computer applications
