Position SummaryThe Rheumatologist provides comprehensive outpatient care for patients with a wide range of rheumatologic conditions. This role focuses exclusively on
ambulatory care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and long-term management of chronic autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases.
The physician will work closely with primary care providers and specialists to ensure coordinated, high-quality care, while building a robust outpatient practice within the Main Line Health network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and management of rheumatologic conditions
- Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for patients with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases
- Manage chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, and other connective tissue disorders
- Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers to ensure coordinated care
- Utilize evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines
- Document patient encounters in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team-based care models
- Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and referring providers
- Attend required meetings and maintain all necessary certifications
- Other duties as assigned
Education- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine
- Completion of a Rheumatology fellowship program
Licensure & Certification- Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
- BLS/ACLS certification as required
Experience- 2+ years of outpatient Rheumatology experience preferred (new graduates welcome)
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
- Strong clinical and communication skills
